A Mage PVP Guide to Success in WoW

A lot of people who are new to World of Warcraft (WoW), do not start out by going player versus player (PVP). They don`t know that you can gain points and ranks by fighting and winning, so they go about their game, attached to other players, doing what everyone else is doing - collecting, selling, using, etc. But, if you are interested in a new spin on the game of World of Warcraft, then you need to put your tools down, forget about your recipes, and start fighting. As a mage PVP can help you move up the ranks and add a new aspect to the game for you.

If you are going into mage PVP combat, then you need all of the usual gear that you need in the traditional game. You need stamina and intellect, and lots of it. If you are a fire or arcane mage, then you need even more intellect. Spirit is always good to have, and if you have a wand somewhere in your possession don`t be afraid to use it.

The mage PVP relies highly on sheep, but using sheep without planning ahead can leave you in a lot of danger. Use your spells - daze, blast wave, and dragon`s breath - but again, don`t waste them. Engaging in mage PVP uses up a lot of what you have, so if you aren`t planning on winning your battle, don`t get involved. In other words, if you can`t do the time, don`t do the crime!
